HBO's Entourage starring Adrien Grenier is seeing many changes this season, and fans are loving it.

It’s a season of growth and new experiences on Entourage, and not just for Vince. Here’s a few things that are going on in season six that are keeping the fans pouring in week after week.

1. Kevin Connolly is getting loads of screen time.

The actor who consistently delivers a loveable, unshakable Eric Murphy is on the rise. His career of late has been pretty close to the definition of "up and coming." He has had roles in two major movies in the past six months, both with A-list stars. He had a pretty sizeable storyline in He’s Just Not That Into You, in which he was ironically head over heels for Scarlett Johannsen’s character. And he appeared quickly at the beginning of The Ugly Truth as Katherine Heigel’s first… well, interview.

Within Entourage, he is also moving up. Eric Murphy now has an honest-to-goodness agent job at an established agency, even though it was a connection helped along by the dreaded Sloan. He is finally creating some independence for himself away from Vince, and he’s not the only one.

2. Jerry Ferrara is a big boy now.

The consistent underdog in Entourage, Turtle is finally getting his due. He’s back in school, has a beautiful famous girlfriend (Jamie Lynn Siegler) and he, like Eric, is headed in a new direction all his own. He may not be getting quite the attention that Eric is, but fans are quite happy that he simply has his own story going on, since for many episodes his main function was to drive and serve as the butt of many well-meant jokes.

3. Bob Saget makes an almost Emmy-worthy cameo.

When Bob Saget turns up in the office of Eric’s new coworker, he brings a questionable escort, talk of illegal habits, and about sixty uses of his favorite profane word. His proposition to Eric is simple: I’ll give you a percentage of my sizeable wealth, if you let me desecrate your new boss’s office. It’s questionable which is more hilarious, the look on Eric’s face or on Bob’s. Saget is fantastically deadpan throughout – not that he has anything to make up for, of course.

4. Jeremy Piven yells a lot, in the way that only Jeremy Piven can yell.

Fans of Entourage are more than used to the vein-popping, button-bursting rage of Ari Gold, Vince’s beloved agent. In season six, his rage has a new target: his personal project hire, Andrew Klein (played by Gary Cole.) In the episode Murphy’s Lie, Ari delivers what must be one of his best threats yet to the seductive young Lizzy who has caused so much trouble for Andrew: “If you so much as [glance at] another agent in this building, I will deport you naked to the Taliban!”

And during all of this, Vince begins to take on less of a lead character role and more of a one-of-the-guys role. It’s a humble look for a not-so-humble character, but it’s a good change and speaks well of the potential longevity of the show. In a time when not many shows can retain quality after two or three seasons, Entourage has remained solid.
