The award-winning Canadian sitcom Corner Gas went out with a bang on April 13, 2009 after six amazing seasons. Although the network was willing to renew Corner Gas, creator and star Brent Butt thought it would be best to quit while they were still ahead, and so the show ends on a definite high note. Guest stars for the sixth and final season of Corner Gas included singer Michael Bublé and Premier of Saskatchewan Brad Wall.
Episode 1: Full Load

When Brent (Brent Butt) enters Lacey (Gabrielle Miller) into an eating contest, she becomes Dog River's new champ. Meanwhile, Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) accidentally sells Hank's (Fred Ewaniuck) truck in a police auction, and Emma (Janet Wright) can't quite get the hang of Brent's old MP3 player.
Episode 2: Bend It Like Brent

When Karen gets into a minor car accident, she becomes afraid of driving and enlists Hank to do it for her. Meanwhile, Brent and Lacey sponsor a youth soccer team, and Emma and Oscar (Eric Peterson) find some of Wanda's (Nancy Robertson) home recordings.

When Corner Gas and the Ruby start offering self-serve, Brent discovers that customers don't mind not hanging out with him, and Lacey gets a bit too lazy. Meanwhile, Wanda's rumors about Karen and Emma get a bit out of hand.

When Davis (Lorne Cardinal) and Karen win a freezer full of meat and entrust it to Oscar and Emma, they worry that someone will eat it. Meanwhile, Lacey and Wanda babysit a lost electronic pet, and Hank's joke backfires when he gets stuck in a snowsuit.

When Oscar and Emma get a hot tub, Lacey discovers that she's their only guest. Meanwhile, Hank camps out in Corner Gas without telling Brent, and Davis and Karen dress up as Dog River's new safety mascot.

When Oscar discovers that he's lost his Canadian citizenship, Brent and Emma try to teach him how to be more Canadian. Meanwhile, Davis can't make coffee, and Hank, Karen, and Wanda compete to see who can keep their New Year's resolutions the longest.
