Episode guide for Season 4, Episodes 1-9 of the Canadian sitcom Corner Gas.

The award-winning sitcom Corner Gas is loosely based on creator and star Brent Butt's experiences growing up and working at a gas station in small-town Saskatchewan. Guest stars for the show's fourth season included Olympic medalist Cindy Klassen, former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson, and Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Episode 1: Hair Comes the Judge

When Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) cuts Brent's (Brent Butt) hair, she discovers that Emma (Janet Wright) is territorial and holds a mean grudge. Meanwhile, when Hank (Fred Ewaniuck) fails to stain Lacey's (Gabrielle Miller) deck, they get Wanda (Nancy Robertson) to settle the case.

Episode 2: Dog River Dave

When Brent insults a radio show host, he is mocked on air as "Dog River Dave." Meanwhile, Lacey tries out a delivery service at the Ruby, and Davis (Lorne Cardinal) and Karen's plan to "work to rule" leaves them with more work than usual.

Episode 3: Two Degrees of Separation

When Lacey suggests that Emma and Oscar get a digital thermostat, Hank gets caught in a fight over whether the thermostat should be set to 70 degrees or 72. Meanwhile, Lacey's license gets suspended, and Brent tries to figure out Wanda's height.

Episode 4: Just Brent and His Shadow

When Lacey gets a job shadow from the high school, Brent gets jealous and asks for one as well. Meanwhile, Hank finds a fondue pot, and Emma's attempt to be nicer to Oscar backfires when he becomes attracted to the snarky and off-putting Wanda.

Episode 5: Demolition

Originally Aired October 16, 2006

When Brent is hired to tear down a barn, Davis asks Wanda to take pictures in the hope of becoming Dog River's "Newsmaker of the Year." Meanwhile, Lacey gets frustrated when Emma doesn't take care of her manicure.

Episode 6: Jailhouse

Originally Aired October 23, 2006

When Karen locks Davis in jail until she collects $1,000 for a fundraiser, she realizes that she enjoys being alone on the job. Meanwhile, Wanda offers to fix Emma and Oscars toilet despite knowing nothing about the job, and Lacey attempts to make Corner Gas look less "dumpy."

Episode 7: I, Witness

Originally Aired October 30, 2006

When Karen has to give a presentation on eyewitness testimony, Wanda attempts to show off her knowledge of psychology. Meanwhile, Hank comes back from a near-death experience determined to become a rodeo clown, and Lacey becomes Emma's new bridge partner despite knowing nothing abotu the game.

Episode 8: Blog River

Originally Aired November 6, 2006

When Hank starts writing a blog, the others pretend to have read it so they won't have to listen to Hank. Meanwhile, Emma and Oscar try to trick Lacey into believing she's good at horseshoes so the food quality at the Ruby will improve again.

Episode 9: Outside Joke

Originally Aired November 13, 2006

When Davis's new GPS says that Corner Gas is outside the border of Dog River, Lacey becomes the "trusted local." Meanwhile, Karen tries to teach Davis how to play a practical joke, and Hank digs through people's garbage and becomes convinced that Oscar and Emma are rich.
