Tracy shows up late for his first day on The Girly Show. Jack has arranged a band and dancing girls to greet him in style, confirming the fears of Jenna and the other cast-members that Tracy's movie-star status will get him special treatment.
Things get worse when Jack changes the name of the show from The Girly Show, to TGS with Tracy Jordan. Jenna is then humiliated while filming new promo spots for the re-titled show with Tracy, who blunders through them while mispronouncing her name.
Liz Lemon Offends the Entire Staff
While trying to console Jenna in her dressing room, Liz tells her that she doesn't want Tracy there either, that all the writers are idiots and describes Jack as a "certified non-genius". Kenneth then opens the door and tells them that Jenna's microphone is still on and that everyone can hear everything they're saying.
Jack insists an embarrassed Liz apologize to Tracy. She sits with him on the set once everyone leaves and explains that he's the most important member of the show to the network, that Jenna is neurotic and insecure, and that everyone else is jealous of Tracy's talent and fame. Kenneth then walks over and tells her that the camera in front of her is on and that everyone can both see and hear her.
When Liz tries to apologize to the angry writers they throw food and office supplies at her, leaving her hair and clothes a dripping, disgusting mess.
With everyone angry at both Liz and Tracy, she goes to Tracy to come up with an idea to win back the trust and support of the rest of the staff. Tracy suggests a party and harbor-cruise on his yacht. Liz jumps at the idea.
Tracy Jordan's Yacht Party
The boat is beautiful and the party is tasteful and classy. Everyone is having a great time and all are surprised and impressed with Tracy's good taste.
While looking for the washroom Liz finds a maid hiding in the closet who tells her that Tracy Jordan has hijacked the boat. Suddenly the inconsistencies between Tracy's personality and the elegance of the boat make sense.
As Liz runs back on deck to tell everyone to get off the boat, the police arrive with the yacht's real owners and Tracy jumps overboard to avoid being arrested.
The next day Liz shows up at work to find that the disaster on the boat has brought the team together. Jack congratulates her and tells her that he made a deal with the yacht's owners to keep everything out the press except for some drunken pictures of Jenna. Liz fears that Jenna will be angry, but she loves the publicity.
Liz looks to Jack in utter disbelief at how well things turned out. He says "You're welcome."
